I’d like to invite you again to another project entitled “Preparing for the Journey”. – It will be a seminar which aim is future cooperation.
We can cooperate in many ways – I personally see three main options:
1. Youth exchanges – our group can organize one youth exchange in a year in Poland, however, we will gladly go to your country too.
2. International initiatives /two countries/ – there are many possibilities to carry out an interesting project, first in one country, and then in another.
3. European Voluntary Service – for accredited organizations and for those which want to get the accreditation in the future.
Young people from our churches can get a chance to go “for a mission” which will be funded by the European Commission, and what’s more, a church will receive funds to carry out that mission. – You may have a look how volunteers help at our church: http://youthcamps.wordpress.com/projekt-2012/brochure2012/
Looking at how mobile the world is nowadays, I think we can use it for the glory of the Kingdom of God and give young people a chance to participate in an interesting project, which they may prepare and carry out themselves, at the same time proclaiming the gospel.
Thus, a few years ago conceived an idea of doing a seminar for leaders.
In February we will follow the program which we will be preparing together until the 15th of September – I would like the program to be the outcome of our needs and that’s why we can still make changes to it. Project summary
The main idea of the project is to establish a long-term cooperation between groups in various countries and to make joint actions within the framework of the Youth in Action programme.
Fulfilling the mission of Christ we want to:
Give tools to all young people with passion who are among our youth groups.
Young people who are devoted to Christ have wonderful ideas and they often organize events for which they need funds. Let’s show them that there are tools and there are funds. Joint actions give greater opportunities.
Show a sense of togetherness. On one hand, each of us can be accomplishing our goals but on the other, together we can shape new leaders with vision and passion. To the ends of the earth
Look to the future. Teach young leaders how to act with purpose with great vision and with power of the Holy Spirit.
& we want to
- prepare together joint projects for the years to come, where we can accomplish our goals as missionaries and disciples
- learn from one another by observing other groups, spending time together, joint actions.
- give young people an opportunity to serve in a foreign country within the framework of the EVS – European Voluntary Service.
- multiply our groups by in inviting our friends to help in realization of interesting ideas.
